To use your own router with Avative service, you’ll need to make sure that your router meets the following specs:
For plans up to 1 Gig Speeds:
- Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) or Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax)
- Supports gigabit wired speeds
- 1000Base-T (Gigabit Ethernet) or faster ethernet port for internet connection
- 1000Base-T (Gigabit Ethernet) or faster ethernet port for local network
- Minimum WPA2 Security
For 2 Gig Speeds:
- Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) or Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax)
- Supports multi-gigabit wired speeds
- 2500Base-T (2.5 Gigabit Ethernet) or faster ethernet port for internet connection
- 2500Base-T (2.5 Gigabit Ethernet) or faster ethernet port for local network
- Minimum WPA2 Security
For 5 Gig Speeds:
- Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) or Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax)
- Supports multi-gigabit wired speeds
- 5000Base-T (5 Gigabit Ethernet) or faster ethernet port for internet connection
- 5000Base-T (5 Gigabit Ethernet) or faster ethernet port for local network
- Minimum WPA2 Security
For 10 Gig Speeds:
- Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) or Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax)
- Supports multi-gigabit wired speeds
- 10GBase-T (10 Gigabit Ethernet) or SFP+ for internet connection
